Yep a $20,000 5Kw solar system can power a small home during times of sunlight (if it's functioning 100%) but then you'll still have an electrical bill for the other times, calculate a few thousand per year for maintenance, cleaning and cell replacements and you'll only be paying about 300% for your energy needs as your neighbor (who doesn't have 400 square foot of ugliness on his roof). By the way they'll have to drill holes in your roof to install them and they generate a lot of heat which means you'll be replacing your roof more often...which means removing the solar system first and then reinstalling and of course parts and cords will be brittle requiring additional expenses before you can reinstall them, God forbid more than a few panels crack during the process. In about7- 8 years you can look forward to doing it all over again from the beginning. Oh before I forget, installing solar panels over a new roofing job voids any warranties. Yeah go for it libard.
More typical Justme lies...
1. My roof warranty will not be voided by a solar panel installation.
2. A few thousand for maintenance??? Who told you that? Or did you pull that number out of your ass! LMAO!!! What's there to maintain? The unit has no moving parts. And regular rainfall is enough to clean of the surface.
3. Solar panels last for decades and are covered under warranty including parts, labor, and penetration into my roof.
Come on, you can do better than that......
