These morons haven't a clue about the implications of ocean acidification, ocean temperature rise, or the connection of the Arctic cold to powering the Gulf Stream and why that's important, and you or I are certainly not going to get through to them about any of it.

Someone explain to me the current location of the ice age these same climate hysterics (more likely their parents) were warning us about back in the '70s. The one they warned us about in the most dire terms imaginable, just as today they warn us about global warming, in the same dire terms. The one that was supposed to have inundated the entire North American continent as far south as Phoenix, AZ with a sheet of ice eleven feet thick. Somehow they KNEW the ice was going to be eleven feet thick, I heard myself on an episode of the PBS show NOVA, narrated by none other than Leonard Nimoy that some fool allowed to be rebroadcast sometime in the early 2000's. I was channel surfing when I heard his voice and had to stop and watch the program. It was amazing because it was in direct contrast to what they were trying to sell us about global warming.

Then, as now, it's all about gaining control of your lives and extracting as much money as possible to create larger and larger government. As I've said, the U.S. could go to zero emissions tomorrow and wouldn't put the slightest dent in any global emissions level. Obozo and the left are using fear to stampede the Useful Idiots....and it's working.

Marice Strong, the ex UNEP Director, said: “Isn’t the only hope for this planet the total collapse of industrial civilisation? Is it not our responsibility to ensure that this collapse happens?” And Maurice Strong is considered by many to be the “father” of the global warming scare.
