Michelle Obama brought Broadway and some of its brightest stars to the White House on Monday to celebrate the performing arts.Once again, while the while the rest of the world reels and shows their respect to the French victims the Obama's don't let it spoil their parties. In very bad taste, can't they wait at least a few days to "pretend" they're saddened by the deaths?
Gloria Estefan, legendary composer Andrew Llyod Webber, Whoopi Goldberg, and Glee star Matthew Morrison were just some of the big names welcomed to the East Room on Monday.
Estefan sang music from On Your Feet!, a show based on the story of her life, and Morrison sang music from Finding Neverland. Other performances featured music from Fun Home, An American in Paris, School of Rock, and Something Rotten.
Michelle Obama danced the Conga while encouraging others to get out on the floor and dance. The festivities carried over into the late night while Michelle showed off some very impressive dance moves.
