There certainly is a "globalist" notion that corporations are, or should become, the new nation-states and that there should be no national borders.

You can see sympathy toward this view in some of the ideas of Rand Paul.

But history shows some nations are successful and many are not.

America was the best big country in human history, but since its peak in the 1950s it has been changing with now one million new legal immigrants per year and twelve million illegals.

If a country has no border, no national language, no respect for the rule of law, no sense of what it is, it becomes no longer the same conceptual entity.
