Chancellor Angela Merkel says she remains confident Germany can integrate the large number of refugees who are arriving, and is arguing that many won't stay forever.

Germany has been the main destination of Syrians and others seeking protection in Europe. Merkel said at a town hall event in Nuremberg Monday that "there are very, very many, but there are 80 million of us." She said "we can and will manage this integration, if Germany makes an effort from the beginning to integrate with them, the newcomers will integrate with us."

Germans are starting to speak out against Merkel's call for Germans to be the ones that should integrate with the Muslims with hopes Muslims will later integrate with Germans.

As one German woman said "Why should I be the one to integrate, this is my country, they are the guests, this whole refugee matter has turned out far worse than we ever imagined. They are not acting like guests, rather they treat us as if we're in their country. Many of us afraid where this is leading, we no longer trust our politicians."

Maybe Germans will now shut the hell up about how awful Americans are for not welcoming illegals. Now that they have a taste of what we've been going through for years it'll be a wake up call for them. They're whinning about only a million, we have over 11 million of the unthankful leaches.

Europeans had been whining about America not eagerly embracing 12 million illegal aliens, with 87 percent of them on welfare courtesy of the American taxpayer.

I have a couple of German friends that visit the United States as part of their jobs. On one of those visits they ask me why Americans are so gun crazy, I explain that's media driven, many Americans don't own guns and those of that do don't wave them around, most of the time they stay locked up. They were astonished that I also own a gun, they didn't figure me as one of "those" Americans. One ask me why I have it and I explained because I can and it's better to have a gun and not need it than needing a gun and not having one. They asked if I would really shot someone if they broke into my home and I told them, yep without a second thought. That brought actual gasps of disbelieve.

They also asked why Americans treat immigrants so bad, I told we welcome millions of immigrants but we're a country of laws, or used to be. I told them I am one of "those" Americans who feel those who entered illegally have no right to remain in America and they shouldn't be provided any of our limited social assistance. They disagreed with me on illegals and felt since they came to America for a better life they should be welcomed and provided assistance along the way.

Well dudes that was 6 months ago, yesterday I got an email from one of them the small city of 1,800 he lives in received 200 refugees that were basically just "dumped" there by their government and now are expecting the city and it's citizens to house and care for them with the government not covering all the costs. I told him to walk the talk and make room in his big 4 bedroom house for a family or a couple of the men and don't act like one of "those" Americans he talked about. It may piss him off but it pissed me off when he said I showed a side he didn't know about me when I talked of removing illegals and not providing them social assistance. After all Germans invited the refugees in, only Obama invited the illegals in.
