Political discussions about everything

Interesting-I didn't realize I was so rich. (Why is it still a struggle to make ends met?) Shock...shock...shock When those leftys are talking about taxing the rich they are talking about us.

f you’re making $30K, you are in the 51st percentile. In other words, 51% of the U.S. population is making the same or less than you.
If you’re making $60K, you are in the 81st percentile.
If you’re making $90K, you are in the 90th percentile.
If you’re making $125K, you are in the 95th percentile.
A 1 percenter would be making $250K or more, putting them in the 99th percentile. There are approximately 1.1M people who made between $250K and $500K in 2014.
A 0.1 percenter would be making $500K or more, putting them in the 99.9th percentile. There are approximately 130,000 people who made $500K or more in 2014.

Then there's this. Why go to war when you can just buy them out.

A joint analysis by Irvine, Calif.-based realty research firm RealtyTrac, and New Jersey-based multicultural marketing company Ethnic Technologies, found that 46% of Mandarin Chinese-speaking buyers who purchased U.S. homes in the 17 months ending in May 2015 paid all cash, more than triple the number paying all cash in 2005. Overall, Mandarin speakers are the second largest non-English speaking cash-paying group, totaling nearly 18% of all cash deals, second behind those buyers speaking Spanish at 43%.

Even the Federal Government is hurting for cash!

The U.S. plans to sell millions of barrels of crude oil from its Strategic Petroleum Reserve from 2018 until 2025 under a budget deal reached on Monday night by the White House and top lawmakers from both parties.

The proposed sale, included in a bill posted on the White House website, equates to more than 8 percent of the 695 million barrels of reserves, held in four sites along the Gulf of Mexico coast. Sales are due to start in 2018 at an annual rate of 5 million barrels, rising to 10 million by 2023 and totaling 58 million barrels by the end of the period. The proceeds will be “deposited into the general fund of the Treasury,” according to the bill.

This might be a dumb move: it's going to impact the market (very unfair to investors but great for consumers-until the plan is over and the price of oil skyrockets.)

It's called a strategic reserve for a reason: it is our energy cushion in case we need it for military purposes.

And what about what Obama calls the Climate Action Plan?....

Is that all bullshit?.....just Obama looking for a second Nobel?

If the US sells all this oil.....it means losing control of it...

The buyer can do whatever it wants with it.....

For those that believe something should be done about Climate Change.....

not selling this oil would be something....wouldn't it?
