Another Republican lawmaker says the House Select Committee on Benghazi is meant to go after former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Rep. Richard Hanna, R-New York, said Wednesday on New York's' WIBX 950, "Sometimes the biggest sin you can commit in D.C. is to tell the truth."

"This may not be politically correct, but I think that there was a big part of this investigation that was designed to go after people and an individual, Hillary Clinton," said Hanna, who is not a member of the committee. "After what Kevin McCarthy said, it's difficult to accept at least a part of it was not. I think that's the way Washington works. But you'd like to expect more from a committee that's spent millions of dollars and tons of time."

We already know Hillary should be the target, she was in charge of the State Department when it happened, she denied them extra protection, she had everyone stand by as they were killed she then tried to cover it all up...so why is investigating her a sham?

We also know why they allowed those in the embassy to be killed, to send in troops and engage in a fire fight with the hundreds of terrorists would have proven Obama and Hillary had lied about the war on terror being over...plus God forbid an "innocent" Benghazi citizen get killed in the fight. They weighed that and chose to let our people die, then they lied about it being just a protest that got out of control. Allowing Americans to die to protect your reputation, is not OK.

When the embassy called for help, a rapid deployment force loaded up onto aircraft but were told to stand down. Obama the next day said there was no troops sent because there was nothing they could have done. The CIA and the military know that was a lie, imagine a police agency or a fire department declining to respond to a 911 call because it would probably be to late by the time they got there. Ever since that day I lost the last shred of respect I had left for Obama and Hillary. I also lost respect for the military commander that followed the State Department's and White House's demands that he stand his troops down.
