It has been a long time since I've been in Kenya, but it has virtues.

At elevation, the nights can be cool and the scenery beautiful.

Obviously, though, its educational system almost did not exist until Europeans colonized.

When we went outside urban areas, we were offered the opportunity to rent hunting rifles for protection not just if our Range Rovers had mechanical problems but also to ward off robbers.

We did rent rifles and kept them ready.

It is sad that, for a socialist like Obama, the goal is to even out the planet -- to take a successful country like America and run it down to the point at which it might be equal to some Third World nation.
