Political discussions about everything

NASA chief Charles Bolden's remarks.

"When I became the NASA administrator, (President Obama) charged me with three things," "One, he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships; and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contributions."

SpaceX launch ends in failure, rocket erupts. The $20 Billion SpaceX space rocket carrying supplies and the first-of-its-kind docking port to the International Space Station broke apart Sunday shortly after liftoff. It was a severe blow to NASA, still reeling from several other previous failed shipments. This is the second failed station shipment in a row and the third in eight months

The accident occurred about 2 1/2 minutes into the flight from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Pieces could be seen falling into the Atlantic. More than 5,200 pounds of space station cargo were on board, including the first docking port designed for future commercial crew capsules.

"The vehicle has broken up," announced NASA commentator George Diller. He said it was not clear how the disaster occurred or even when the rocket actually failed. Data stopped flowing from the Falcon 9 rocket around 2 minutes and 19 seconds, he said.

SpaceX — led by billionaire Elon Musk, who also heads up electric car maker Tesla — is one of two companies hired by NASA to deliver shipments to the space station since NASA no longer has the capabilities.
Obama destroys every agency he puts one of his cronies in charge of; it's not by mistake.

I was looking right at it when it blew.
It was the first one I have seen blow since living down here.
One blew on the pad a while back, but it was not readily visible.

Said to myself....."that's what happens when a rookie company is installed for political reasons".

Obama threw the aerospace industry under the bus because he and Musk are butt buddies.

Who would have believed that the IRS would become so political?

Nixon tried to pervert the IRS, but Obama did it.

Then destroyed Lerner's hard drive, then recycled the drives, then destroyed over 400 backup tapes.

Watergate was tiny compared to this scandal.

...he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contributions
Obama gave him mission impossible, how is he expected to that since they haven't progressed beyond the Middle Ages? Can anyone name a Muslim country that produces something as simple a vehicle? So why is NASA's primary mission to help Muslims feel good about being an ignorant backward people that can't even make the machine that after thousands of years and help from Western Nations can't even produce their own clocks or coffee machines? Their religion keeps them in the Middle Ages, it's not up to American tax payers to make them feel good about that.

The Arabs and Muslims discovered and developed algebra which was integral in describing and characterizing the physical laws which allowed for scientists to build spacecraft to begin with in the first place...

Yep, very true, a 2000 years ago Muslims were far ahead of the rest of the world, the United States was just a wilderness roamed by savages. But Christians put man on the moon while Muslim countries stayed in the past. So Clown tell us what happened, today they can't even make their own transportation or electronics, take away Western influence and they're riding Camels and Donkeys for transportation and cooking their meals over a fire pit. So what happen to keep them so primitive? Same for Africa.

At least arguably, there was a beginning in Africa, whether around Olduvai Gorge or somewhere.

Visit Africa today and you see a vast continent struggling in the bulk of it to crawl out of the mud hut stage of civilization.

There is -- what? -- one white leader in sub-Saharan Africa?

What's the problem?

The only regions of Africa that ever did half way well were under white leadership. Sorry, if that get's your panties in a wad, you're either ignorant or a racist in denial. Since there isn't a Muslim country that has ever been under the leadership of whites, well you get the picture. ;)

Look, here is the woman that obviously invented the wheel.
Using Elk's logic, that must mean she also invented the automobile, and Ford had nothing to do with it.

Naw...just kidding....

It is actually a pic of the head rocket scientist that put up that launch yesterday.

I saw her at the after launch party at Milliken's Reef in Port Canaveral.

Giving the keynote address......
