Political discussions about everything

BALTIMORE — A prisoner sharing a police transport van with Freddie Gray told investigators that he could hear Gray “banging against the walls” of the vehicle and believed that he “was intentionally trying to injure himself,” according to a police document obtained by The Washington Post.

You dimwits keep missing the point, as always.

If the "worst case scenario" is that the police abused Gray in custody and were responsible for Gray's death, then the "best case scenario" you guys have to offer is that Gray killed himself by beating his head against a wall while police stood by, or some equivalent.
Put simply, what you are saying is the "best case" is that police let someone kill themselves while in custody.
That's your defense? Oh...now I feel much better.

As a purely practical matter, your attitude is that it is just fine that one prisoner can send a city up in flames because "he had it coming" and the police couldn't be bothered to stop it.
That's just idiotic.

Forget for a minute that we don't want to gleefully hand that sort of power over to any random suicidal megalomaniac.
Forget for a minute that we don't want cities to burn and dozens (or hundreds) of innocent people to die on a regular basis.
Forget for a minute that we don't want the normal state of daily policing to be walls of cops in riot gear.
Forget for a minute that I don't want to give the state carte blanche in 'removing' troublesome people from our midst without due process.
The practical result of your cavalier attitude is that the police, by allowing someone to kill themselves in custody (guilty or not) open themselves up to lawsuits, loss of city money in settlements, and loss of support in the community.
That should concern you.
It creates a situation where it becomes impossible to police a community and the only alternative is a siege mentality with police who won't do their job out of a fear of lack of community support or even antipathy.

Just sitting there smugly and saying "Who cares if he's dead? He deserved it." is not a moral or legal defense for the police and it results in the exact opposite of what you profess to value; a society based on the rule of law.
We hand over to police the authority to use lethal force against us.
It is not in our interest to simply shrug off any death that occurs under their watch.

You tell us 'liberals' are quick to condemn police without waiting for the facts.
You are too foolish to understand that you are just as quick to exonerate the police without waiting for the facts; a far more dangerous attitude.
Meanwhile, you're eating popcorn and jeering while cities burn and people are injured. You don't seem to have the least idea how revolting you are.

Obviously my point is that morons who can only think in two-sentence thoughts (spoon-fed them by their handlers) don't know where their best interests lie and shouldn't be taken seriously.

Get back to us when you learn to read paragraphs.

If we aren't to take you seriously, why do you waste the calories to post here?

Ooooh, the truly devastating "I know you are but what am I?" comeback!

Congratulations on graduating the second grade, Tool, though how you did it without learning to read paragraphs is beyond me.
Another failed product of the public school system, eh?

So now, apparently, the medical examiner concluded Gray broke his own neck on a bolt inside the police van.

Another person under arrest, also black, said he heard Gray trying to injure himself inside the van, apparently high as a kite on drugs.

So here again, we have no Rosa Parks.

Turns out little Freddie wasn't the innocent child the media is hyping him up to be, he served time in prison for dealing heroin and other drugs. Little Freddie was high on his own drugs when he bashed his head into the side of the van that was transporting him to the safety of confinement.

"Clown I see you're still wasting calories,..."-RealTRool

Now Tool, I hate to see you give up on yourself, considering yourself a 'waste'.
Stupidity needn't be hopeless, though I can see how you might succumb to despair in your rather extreme case.

It was a rainy morning in April of 1941 -- a morning much like this one -- when Clownflabber last saw his feet.

Through all of the intervening years, Clownfatter's vast belly blocked the view.

Only Justme would regurgitate some bullshit police narrative claiming that Gray was going to be a martyr...

The prosecutor brought charges apparently on the basis of race.

She said she heard the chants of "No Justice, No Peace."

The question is whether there can be an all-black inner city jury to get a conviction on the most serious charges.

Second degree murder, assault, those seem a tad unlikely given what facts we now know, but surely more facts will emerge.

The Baltimore mayor claims there will be justice for the thug because 3 black females are in charge of the outcome. Sounds like to me she needs to be arrested for conspiring to deprive citizens of their civil rights to achieve a racist agenda to appease her supporters.

First of all, the charges were filed much, much too quickly.

Secondly, some of the charges seem absurd no matter where one stands on politics.

Third, there's the problem that the federal Department of "Justice" helped to draft the charges, which pretty much include everything but littering in a preposterous example of overcharging.

What we have, in essence, is a sad example of racists in charge of the system. The mayor, walking with her new pal Al Sharpton, and the prosecutor admitting she made the charges while listening to the "No Justice, No Peace" calls of those rioting in the street.
