Political discussions about everything

It is good to know that Grog is still alive given his struggle with hepatomegaly and esophageal varices.

It pains me to say it, but perhaps it's time to put out an A.P.B. on the board's prancing dandy johnforbes?

Sometimes things go really bad when a repressed military guy finally comes out of the closet.
See the film "American Beauty" for such an example.

As your article shows, Forbes has a connection in the past.
"As Forbes recalls,..." :o

Like Clownslacker, Grog lacks the educational and experiential capacity to rationally discuss different views.

He is a kneejerk leftist, and thus his ethanol-soaked cerebellum functions merely to regurgitate leftist rhetoric.

I wish Grog well as he copes with the somatic consequences of his ethanol abuse.

Does anyone else get a queasy feeling when johnforbes desperately tries to distract from the current topic of his being the suspect in an anal murder by bringing up a guy who hasn't even posted here for almost a month?

You really need to work on your alibi, johnny.
Your usual idiotic innuendo, platitudes, and tired jokes won't cut it when the cops show up at your secluded mountain sex cabin asking questions.

Oxford historian Niall Ferguson estimated that there were 19 million battlefield deaths in WW II.

Oddly, 19 million is also the precise number of brain cells Grog has lost to alcohol abuse.
By Clownkicker
#56426
johnny, losing 19 million brain cells is nothing. You lost 19 million yourself when you were 'accidentally' dropped on your head by your mother as a child. Sucking on Agent Orange as a youngster didn't help either.
We all lose brain cells every day almost from birth.
If you had any education at all you would know that.
That loss also explains why you are drooling in an institution today.
But again, you try to distract from what appears more and more to be the ugly truth.

At the risk of facing charges myself of conspiracy, accessory after the fact, and obstruction, as soon as you can get out unseen (which you seem to do quite frequently) I recommend that you remove the shackles from the cabin wall and take down the pulley system on the ceiling, just because they look really bad to a jury.

And take your moldy boots out of the bag. If the investigators see you're stupid enough to store just-worn boots in a plastic bag, they will know you're just stupid enough to 'accidentally' kill someone.

My staffers have now completed all the paperwork relating to Grog's request to leave the forum.

When they placed it on my desk for scrutiny, a tear formed at the corner of my eye at the very notion that this august body would no longer be exposed to the raw, egregious idiocy of Grog's postings.

But I dabbed that tear away and signed my approval for Grog to leave.

Now, at last, Grog has my permission to leave.

Grog left a month ago, you moron.
That's the problem with pompous, arrogant, stick-up-the-ass bureaucrat types like you, johnny.
You're completely out of touch with what's actually happening today.

Incidentally, don't worry too much about the stocks standing in the front yard of your cabin.
You should be able to pass them off as a quaint historical decorative anachronism and planter.

Grog left?

You mean Grog is on the Left.

Grog lacks the educational and experiential capacity to rationally discuss different views.

He is a kneejerk leftist, and thus his ethanol-soaked cerebellum functions merely to regurgitate leftist rhetoric.

I wish Grog well as he copes with his ascites and esophageal varices.

....To establish a logical premise, Carroll repeatedly offers a phrase such as “All Juwes [sic] are greedy.” In “Symbolic Logic” he proffers the following examples, among many: “No Gentiles have hooked noses”; “No Jew is ever a bad hand at a bargain”; “There are no Jews in the house”; “No Gentiles have beards a yard long”; and “No Jews are honest.”.....

What?!

On this forum, we ponder the great mystery of life.

Thus it is that I pose the query:

How come all gals named "Nina" are cute?

All our political forms are exhausted and practically nonexistent. Our parliamentary and electoral system and our political parties are just as futile as dictatorships are intolerable. Nothing is left. And this nothing is increasingly aggressive, totalitarian, and omnipresent. Our experience today is the strange one of empty political institutions in which no one has any confidence any more, of a system of government which functions only in the interests of a political class, and at the same time of the almost infinite growth of power, authority, and social control which makes any one of our democracies a more authoritarian mechanism than the Napoleonic state. - Jacques Ellul, 'Anarchie et Christianisme'

So you're telling me ......Darrell Issa is......"toast"? :o

Please don't tell RealTool.
He'll have a possibly-fatal conniption when the truth finally penetrates his 3-centimeter-thick skull.
Issa isn't going to impeach Obama or Hillary or anybody?

When historians write up the history of this forum, and they will, this thread will rank up there with the best.

Thanks to all who contributed to this magnificent exercise in culture.

Only a visit to the Ashmolean will educate a person better than this thread.

The Ashmolean should not be confused with the Uranian boarding house, The Assholean, where johnforbes lived just down the street from Oxford. It's where he got his formal education and preparation for life in the real world, being regularly buggered by the upper classes.

The ancient house motto of these political milquetoasts is the well known "Yes sir, may I have another!"

A visit to Hagia Sophia is no match for the sheer cultural weight of this forum.

Sure, the visitor has to contend with Clownlicker's raging gayness, but that is easily ignored.
By Clownkicker
#59451
"Cultural weight" indeed.

john's visit to that impressive monument with its several rigid minarets thrusting into the sky to this day reminds him of the night he was rogered roundly by four upperclassmen in a single night.

Clowngayer seems to be in the grip of yet another of his homo hijinks psychosis.

But it is a burden we all must bear, much like Atlas.

Clowntubber's belt bears an enormous amount of weight as it struggles to support his flab.

One thing we can all understand was Hillary's political need to delete 32,000 emails.

Almost surely she knew they revealed far too much about the Clinton Foundation, Benghazi, and her many and various other foreign policy failures.

We've arranged a civilization in which most crucial elements profoundly depend on science and technology. We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. This is a prescription for disaster. We might get away with it for a while, but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces. -- Carl Sagan

While I'm here: How is it Insipid got probation or parole so soon?

His conviction used to carry a minimum of ten years before he got any kind of hearing.

It takes meaningful contributions from many people to make a thread not only memorable, but fundamentally great.

This thread qualifies.

I'm alerting the Smithsonian, which surely will want to preserve it.
