If the policy sucks, it's because the private company sells a crappy product which has nothing to do with the Federal Government.
No Elk, the Government actually "tells" the insurance companies what they cover and don't cover. The Government requires the company charge for paternity coverage for young males but then makes the young male pay the first $8,000.00 if he happens to injury himself playing a sport. All the insurance companies on the Obamacare site are only there because they agree to play by Obama's rules, most insurance companies aren't listed as an option. The crappy product offered through Obamacare has everything to do with the Federal Government.
WFT are you talking about, who ever said that people are required to go to an insurance exchange to get coverage?
The vast majority of people get health insurance through their jobs.
You quote an $8000 deductible, but that's misleading and dishonest because certain plans have higher premiums which will allow zero copays and no deductibles. Do you really think you can bullshit people on this board who all understand health care plans. The deductible that you choose to pay is predicated upon how much you intend to utilize. If someone who skimps on the premium takes the risk of paying high deductibles. Especially if they participate in risky physical activities.
The same goes for car insurance, low premiums equals low coverage and high deductibles.
Are you stupid or something???
