Jesus H. Chrisis this clown RealTool is ignorant.
"Meteorologists study the climate to determine what the weather will be,..."-RealTool
Utterly false, Tool. You have it completely backwards.
Climatologists study weather to determine what climate will be.
Meteorologists study current atmospheric conditions, not climate, to determine what the weather will be.
Climate predicts weather in only the most general terms over an extended period of time.
It is completely useless in determining what the weather will be tomorrow.
"Or are you trying to say scientists like Al Gore understand the climate and weather than meteorologist scientists?"-RealTool
For the last time, Al Gore is not a scientist.
Nobody cares what Al Gore has to say about either climate or weather.
Well, besides you and your handlers, of course. For some reason you get all riled up over what Al Gore says.
Now don't you feel silly?
climate- the composite or generally prevailing weather conditions of a region throughout the year, averaged over a series of years.
weather-the state of the atmosphere with respect to wind, temperature, cloudiness, moisture, pressure, etc.
Weather is the specific atmospheric conditions you can see outside your window.
You cannot see climate by looking out your window, no matter how hard you try.
You see climate in a collection of weather data over many years.
The weather outside your window tells you very little about the climate of the region where you live, and virtually nothing about the climate of the Earth overall.
A climatologist can't predict weather tomorrow...unless he is also a meteorologist.
You can't simply use the two words interchangeably.
But that's what your entire confused argument relies on; replacing "climate" with "weather" whenever you find it convenient.
