Why do liberal politicians feels they are exempt from sacrifices they subject their peons to?

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Despite calls for Angelenos to drastically slash their water use during the statewide drought, Getty House, the official residence of Mayor Eric Garcetti, uses about 2,100 gallons of water per day, according to data cited by the L.A. Weekly.

Imagine a leader responsible for millions living with just him and his "companion" using 2,100 gallons of water a day "during a drought" looking at himself in the morning in the mirror without throwing up...how does he do it?

The Mayor and his "companion" don't use 2100 gallons a day. They just live there and use about as much water as anyone else.
The bulk of the water is used by the city to maintain a historic landmark.
They use the water even if no one is living there, which is half the time.

Now if you idiots don't want to maintain your landmarks, then tell the next Republican mayor to stop watering the lawn and gardens.
HE won't listen to you hypocritical whiners either.
If the people of L.A. don't want the city watering the garden, I'm sure they'll let the city know about it.

No, sillydodo, what I'm saying is that liberals have some respect for the history and heritage of an area and believe it is worth preserving.

Republicans want to tear down anything older than fifty years and put up new condos with an expected lifespan of 30 years for maximum profit.

The Olympic sized pool, 2 hot tubs and 3 water fountains are part of history and heritage that will die if not watered? During a drought when they're demanding citizens consume less and fining them for watering their lawns, that's pure bullshit only a liberal would accept. So a citizens small lawn isn't important but the king's water features are part of heritage that must be maintained under all conditions? :shock:
