Political discussions about everything
#48085
Three strangers strike up a conversation in the airport lounge in Bozeman , Montana , awaiting their flights. One is an American Indian, passing thru from Lame Deer. Another is a cowboy on his way to Billings for a livestock show. And the third is a fundamentalist Arab student from the Middle East, newly arrived at Montana State University .

Their discussion drifts to their diverse cultures. Soon, the two Westerners learn that the Arab is a devout, radical Muslim and the conversation falls into an uneasy lull. The cowboy leans back in his chair, crosses his boots on a magazine table and tips his big sweat-stained hat forward over his face.

Finally, the American Indian clears his throat and softly speaks. “At one time here, my people were many, but sadly, now we are few. The Muslim student raises an eyebrow and leans forward, “Once my people were few in America," he sneers, "and now we are many. Why do you suppose that is?"

The Montana cowboy shifts his toothpick to one side of his mouth, and from the darkness beneath his Stetson says in a drawl, “That's 'cause we ain't played Cowboys and Muslims yet"

If not, it soon will be.

I went out earlier this morning and did something I rarely do, even though I carry a CCW permit and have done so for years. I tucked my 1911 into my belt, covered it with a jacket and went out to take care of some business. Came home and slipped back into where I normally store it while at home and nobody was the wiser. That's probably going to be my procedure from now on. You never need a gun until you do, and then you needed it 30 seconds ago. Don't know who first said that, but truer words have seldom been spoken.

Limp wristed liberal girly men will react with horror and dismay and decry the potential for mass murder and mayhem (and the pissed pants that result when a libtard realizes someone actually has a means of self defense close at hand) as a result of someone practicing his rights as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, but I really don't care. These are the same people who come down with the hysterical vapors whenever they see a manger scene on public property, wailing about the, "separation of church and state," (those words appear nowhere in any of the founding documents, but never confuse a brain dead lib with facts) but conveniently forget about the last part of the First Amendment which guarantees the right to the free expression of anyone's religious beliefs.

So, cowboy up and let's get on with it.

Yep, this whole country has changed.

DHS couldn't guess, to the nearest million, how many illegals are here. Or how many terrorists have waded across the Rio Grande. Or how many ISIS members will wade across.

The federal government seems afraid of common sense on the Ebola threat, and incapable of decisive action except to punish the Tea Party and have the IRS destroy incriminating email.

What a mess this once-great country is now in.

Yep, Obama promised fundamental change, next thing you know they'll start calling ministers' sermons hate speech and serving subpoenas if they quote the bible that marriage is meant between a man and a women. The slippery sloop is know a cliff we're being pushed over. All I can say is cowboys may be our last hope.

Clown is one of those hate Americans first type guys (gals?) just like Obama. When Obama makes a decision he always looks at the best interests of the other country and places America's in the back of the line. Just look at his immigration, Iranian and Ebola policies, their interest is place over Americans' interests.
