1. It seems like Goodell might lose his $40 million a year position over the Ray Rice fiasco.

2. There is increasing awareness of the fact that even though the NFL makes 10's of billions each year (11 billion in 2010 & estimated $21 billion in 2014) they pay no taxes on that income.

3. The Ray rice incident is causing awareness to the huge Federal and local government subsidies that pro-sports get. (Free business building (Stadiums) free security (local police) free croud contro; (local police) free laws to protect profits (Laws against bringing food, drinks into stadium free naming rights to government buildings (stadiums.)
