The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services has identified approximately 966,000 people who signed up on the federal marketplace who have not provided paperwork to resolve discrepancies between their citizenship or immigration status indicated on their insurance application and what the federal government has on record, the Obama administration said Monday. CMS Principal Deputy Administrator Andy Slavitt said on a press call. "If they are willing to pay premiums and are eligible, they will continue to get coverage." Slavitt said he could not provide a breakdown of how many resolved cases were found to be ineligible for coverage. "We still have work to do here," he said. "There are people we have reached out to, and haven't heard from, that we still have work left to do to help them, they will continue to have coverage, it's not their fault we don't have the resources to follow up on the millions of applicants we still have to look into."Surprise, surprise...Obama to his staff "hurry, hurry find another Furgerson incident."
