So today, after running, wife and I stopped by a "peach festival."
We wandered around, she bought a jar of mango salsa and a t-shirt, and we were headed home when I noticed our Member of Congress wandering around as well.
He was in an old t-shirt and shorts, wearing old tennis shoes. Quite unlike the typical politician in an expensive suit. He was a small business owner before entering Congress, and he supports conservative views.
I won't give his name, but there are good, unpretentious people in Congress still.
