FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Anger spurred by the death of a black teenager at the hands of a white police officer boiled over again when protesters stormed into a Missouri convenience store — the same one Michael Brown was accused of robbing. About 200 protesters rioted in Ferguson, Missouri, late Friday, the crowd broke into that same small store, Ferguson Market & Liquor, and began looting it and others, Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson said. Teams of police officers used their cars to block a one-mile stretch of West Florissant Avenue, the street at the center of the protests. Some in the crowd began throwing rocks and other objects at police, Johnson said. At least one officer was hurt. Johnson said police were backed off to try and ease the tension. No arrests were made.

"We had to evaluate the security of the officers there and also the rioters," Johnson said. "We just felt it was better to move back."

So the crowd loots and damages stores right in front of the police then "attack" the police and the police are order to retreat and leave the rioters alone, officers hurt and no arrests made. The rioters now own that town, they've been given the green light and you can bet they'll take it, citizens need to arm themselves.

They say the cigarellos were stolen (a whole box of them) to serve as "housing" or "shell" for various illegal drugs.

Also, apparently, Brown has previously been detained for robbery.

So the media, the AP and CNN and Reuters, were all very, very eager to paint Brown as a helpless, innocent victim of a racist cop, but now it becomes clear that Brown was a young criminal.

The officer didn't walk up and put him in a choke hold because he was selling cigarettes, he put him the choke hold when he resisted arrest and tried fighting the officer. Turns out that thug also had 3 prior felony arrests for assault including stabbing a cab driver with a screw driver then robbing him.

Yep you're being a silly goose. The fact that the perp has a violent history does in fact weigh in on giving the police officer credibility that the perp resisted arrest. Also when your in a fight with a person who is young and bigger than you, you either shot them or grab what ever you can to get them pinned down, grabbing him in choke hold worked, if the perp had stopped trying to kill the officer he would still be OK.

Yep you're being a silly goose. The fact that the perp has a violent history does in fact weigh in on giving the police officer credibility that the perp resisted arrest. I suppose that you want the police to run a background check on every swinging dick they encounter on patrol and have a smartphone app to tell them how to interact with the citizenry????????????

Why would they want to do that? The police just need to enforce the law and arrest those who violate it, it's that simple. If someone throw a rock throw a window arrest them, if someone loots, arrest them, if someone jumps on someone's car just driving through the area, arrest them, if someone slugs a civilian just for their color, arrest them. After their arrested then run the background checks to determine how long their jail sentences should be.
