FERGUSON, Mo. (AP) — Anger spurred by the death of a black teenager at the hands of a white police officer boiled over again when protesters stormed into a Missouri convenience store — the same one Michael Brown was accused of robbing. About 200 protesters rioted in Ferguson, Missouri, late Friday, the crowd broke into that same small store, Ferguson Market & Liquor, and began looting it and others, Missouri State Highway Patrol Capt. Ron Johnson said. Teams of police officers used their cars to block a one-mile stretch of West Florissant Avenue, the street at the center of the protests. Some in the crowd began throwing rocks and other objects at police, Johnson said. At least one officer was hurt. Johnson said police were backed off to try and ease the tension. No arrests were made.So the crowd loots and damages stores right in front of the police then "attack" the police and the police are order to retreat and leave the rioters alone, officers hurt and no arrests made. The rioters now own that town, they've been given the green light and you can bet they'll take it, citizens need to arm themselves.
"We had to evaluate the security of the officers there and also the rioters," Johnson said. "We just felt it was better to move back."
