Germany has successfully generated 31% of it's energy from renewables last quarter and one German village produces 321% more energy than it uses. And Germany isn't even optimal for solar energy producing. Way to go Germany.
For you climate deniers out there, this insulates Germany from exploitation by other countries, insulates itself from the wide swings in market price, helps to stop the supporting of governments out to destroy civilization, frees money that would be normally paid out in utility bills for other purposes, and, oh yes, reduces pollution and globalwarming.
