Piffle...seen the new Challenger SRT Hellcat? All you are gonna see from the driver's seat of your pony is Mopar taillights getting smaller and smaller and smaller...through the tire smoke.Never seen one because they're not for sale yet, but I've heard good things about their performance tests, problem is when they finally do hit the showrooms the dealer mark up will be 10-15K plus for the first year. They'll be something to consider in a couple of years from now after they've worked out bugs it's sure to have and the prices drop. I personally feel they're pushing the horse power and torque on the Hellcat engine far beyond the specs it was originally designed for, watch for premature bearing and seal failures once they do hit the road and have some miles on them. My Stage 3 is road and track proven, the SRT Hellcat is concept that was rushed to production for the title of the most powerful muscle car ever. That engine block was designed for 250HP less than they're forcing out of it.
hope you have some drag racing experience. That's a lot of fuckin carIt's definitely not a car you loan out. The day after I bought it I let my older brother take it for a spin, he came back and his face was paler than a Gringo's! He lost it on a corner and slid into a curb. Lucky no one was hurt and there was no suspension damages just minor curb rash on the right rear wheel, most of it buffed out. Lesson learned by me, no more letting people drive it.
I hear the jury found the guy not guilty. Apparent[…]
