Martha Stewart spent five months in jail for committing the felony acts of perjury, conspiracy and obstruction of justice. She was treated harshly because of a lack of judgment and truth, she lied under oath.

The IRS Commissioner has been caught in at least 5 lies while under oath testifying to Congress, why is he still being chauffeured around in a government limo?

From the beginning when he testified Lerner's hard drive was damaged to a point that there was no chance for experts to retrieve any data from it, he should been asked why was it shredded then?

The Commish is one strange person.

Smirking and arrogant, he was the worst sort of person for the govt to trot out.

Second, despite his law degree from a great school, he contended that he had no idea regarding preservation of evidence, so either he forgot a lot or never learned it or was simply dishonest.

It is a good thing for the Commish that Obama is a Democrat because otherwise the media would long ago have realized that this scandal is worse than Watergate.

Really, the IRS abusing its role to go after political enemies and then destroying evidence?

Putin and Palin haven't taken over quite yet. First Chairman Issa will need to hold several months of hearings about this guy and THEN there will need to be a trial BEFORE he is convicted and then pardoned.

Surely a para-lawyer of Forbes' extensive copy-making and coffee-fetching experience would know this.

There are many Americans that aren't stupid who have been following this, they don't need a judge to tell them the IRS abused their power and that the Democrats are trying to cover it up. The conviction for the Democrats will take place the first Monday in November in the voting booths.

Sure. Hopefully the Repubs will win big enough that we can dispense with the aggravation and expense of trials. Maybe Ted Cruz can oversee a 21st century Star Chamber for D.C. types, including the Big Kahuna hisself.

No we still need fair trials, but they should all be rounded up and put behind bars until the trials convicting them are over. ;)

There you go; the conservative utopia is taking shape. And what you can do for the really big boys is hold their "trials" in a stadium with Putin and Mrs. Palin occupying throne-like seats of honor and they can render the final thumbs down verdict. After that, they will retire to their private chambers to get busy making a new conservative ruler.

This is getting good.

Good grief, Forbes! Pull your pants up!

Pay back will be a bitch after the elections. The Obama Administration have set a precedent giving the President and his staff new powers not confined by laws. The new President will not only have the new powers he'll have both the House and Senate to rubber stamp what ever new laws he wants and allow him to revoke those laws he doesn't, ie Obamacare. The corruption investigations into the Obama Administration will also begin, 83 year old Ruth Bader Ginsburg will have to step down, as it is now she can't find her way back from the bathroom, then Republicans will also have the Supreme Court.
