How would Lois Lerner's hard drive get scratched?

Other than taking the CPU apart and using a paperclip to scratch it, that is.

Even decades ago, federal email was kept on servers anyhow.

I'm hardly a computer expert, but the IRS excuse seems unlikely, eh?

I agree John. It will be interesting to see where this goes. I'll bet that no one goes to jail over this.
