President Barack Obama is calling tens of thousands of illegal-immigrant children languishing in temporary U.S. holding pens an urgent humanitarian situation and demands immediate action. As a result President Obama is setting aside $2 million to pay lawyers for the children to protect their immigration rights. Further Obama has asked Congress for $1.4 billion to help house, feed and transport immigrant children and plans to house thousands at military bases in California, Texas, and Oklahoma; despite the concerns of base commanders. President Obama explained "The reason immigrants come illegally is that it is impossible for them to come legally. Fixing the legal immigration system will remove this problem going forward."

Obama never stops campaigning.

America has never had a president who simply won't ever govern or tell the truth.

What Obama wants is amnesty for 12 million illegals to create more Democrat voters seeking welfare.

A military base is perfect because it shows America's new role of health and education and food provider for each and every person in Central and South America.

Brilliant! What could go wrong with illegals being around military weapons? How could security at the military bases be compromised? Who's budget is going to take the hit for this? In case of a military emergency, we all know that the many illegals at the bases won't impede the operations. How many of our military personnel are going to be shuttled into tents to accomodate the illegals in the style they would like to become accustomed to? Who is going to pay for the infrastructure required to secure the illegals? Is the medical care of the military going to be compromised to accomodate the medical needs of the illegals?

Other than Obama's horrible handling of Iraq and Afghanistan -- announcing exit plans in advance so that terrorists can better manage their schedules -- this is another problem with having a community organizer with a military force at his beck and call.

So now Obama can order illegals to be given food, shelter, and medical care at any and all military bases.

Even liberal law professor Jonathan Turley has noted that America is at a constitutional tipping point where Obama is ignoring the rule of law to a much greater extent than Nixon ever did.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security started flying immigrants in the country illegally to Arizona from the Rio Grande Valley in Texas last month after the number of immigrants — including more than 48,000 children traveling on their own — overwhelmed the Border Patrol there.

Immigrant families were flown from Texas, released in Arizona, and told to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) office near where they were traveling within 15 days.

Tony Banegas, consul of Honduras to Arizona, tells KPHO-TV that the children have been complaining about the food they have been getting at the shelter.

“This morning they switched to burritos, but they complained the eggs were cold,” Banegas told KPHO. “They couldn’t eat them and even made them sick.

The Arizona Daily Star reported Saturday that Jimena Díaz, consul general of Guatemala in Phoenix, visited the center Friday and said the conditions there were unacceptable. At the holding center, vendors are being contracted to provide nutritional meals, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials. The Federal Emergency Management Agency, meanwhile, will provide counseling services, medical and recreational activities. The Homeland Security official told The Associated Press that about 2,000 new mattresses had been ordered for the center along with other equipment.

Sec. of Defense Hagel said military bases are in the unique position to offer immigrants shelter, food and medical care and that Americans should be proud of those services. Hagel announced the first group of children are already arriving at Ft Sill Oklahoma and expects around 1,200 to be cared for there. He said two other bases are gearing up to accept immigrants, Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and Naval Base Ventura County in Southern California.

Since NASA had been tasked to make Muslims feel good about themselves, it makes perfect sense that the military should now be running a day-care center. Why didn't prior Presidents think of that?

Another base has been added to the list of bases forced to open their housing to illegals, Ft Bliss Texas.

Wow another slap in the face to Vets...all this time they could have been housing homeless Vets on military bases. I'll bet you anything an illegal who wants to see a doctor will be seen before a Vet will be able to be seen. The World turned up side down.
