A CNN source said a Taliban commander close to the negotiations laughed hysterically when asked if he felt releasing SGT Bowe Bergdahl in exchange for the 5 Taliban leaders was a wise decision since Bergdahl may return to the battle field.

Obama's gigantic mistake has the Taliban laughing and celebrating.

Rice told so many lies about this -- first saying Bergdahl was captured on the battlefield, that he served honorably, that they had not negotiated with terrorists, on and on.

Even CNN and NBC, Obama's friends and apologists, had trouble choking down all the lies.

Obama accepted Shinseki's resignation before D-Day so that he would have something to say if some vet made bold to ask him about the VA mess.

Obama has egg all over his face since the American people no longer accept everything he or his spokespeople say as being truthful.

Telling the American people his primary responsibility is to protect Americans as the reason he released 5 terrorist leaders who will return to killing Americans to free 1 anti-American deserter doesn't pass the stink test. Obama betrayed the safety of Americans for what he thought would be a great D-Day photo op with the freed deserter as a means of deflecting the terrible care he's giving our Vets.

Today during Obama's D-Day speech he said something that should have everyone concerned. He said our Vets have fought past wars so that a time would come we would no longer need to fight. He thinks that time is now and is why he is dismantling our military while strengthening our enemies...he doesn't want the United States to win any future wars.

Obama held a special press conference with the parents of the released deserter gloating over how he had gained the release of their son. Now that the American public have spoken loud and clear that the trade was a huge mistake, the White House is today claiming it was Hagel and his military commanders that made the decision to make the trade, not the President. Obama is now saying he saw no need not to trust the judgment of his military commanders on the operation and perhaps should have been more involved than he was. Obama said he has ordered a detailed investigation and will restrain from early conclusions.
