The Washington Post has obtained information that some people will have to pay back some or maybe all of their subsidies.
The subsidies are based on income of the applicant. In their haste to get Obamacare rolling, subsidies have been paid before income reported on applications was verified. If verification is done quickly over-payments or underpayments can be kept to a minimum.
Now it turns out that the software needed to make the verifications is not only not in place......it doesn't even exist....no one has created yet. They are doing it by hand!

At this point, it is estimated 1 to 1.5 million people will be affected...but as more people apply, that number will increase.
Somewhere along the way some of these people will receive huge tax bills !

Obama has said "if it proves a hardship on the person affected" (meaning they're a minority) then there will be no collection of monies not paid due to system issues.

Jay Carney called it a wonderful thing that Obama would consider not collecting the money from those who underpaid, he failed to mention, that means those tax payers who didn't benefit will be paying the bills for them. When will it sink in that tax money is not free money, working people earned it and then it's taken by the government and spent, it doesn't fall from the sky. It is not a wonderful thing that the wrong people will be paying the government's bills because they're inept.

I don't think they are bitching about Obama admin making them pay up.
I think they are bitching about how Obamacare was implemented, the rules of the game were changed mid-inning, multiple times, illegally. These people were allowed to sign up with no verifications of income merely to get the sign up numbers on the books. This whole debacle is all about the Obama administration looking good, not about providing affordable healthcare.
I think that's what the real problem is here.
Next up, as Just hints, is the employer mandate, which is conveniently timed til after the election. Again, voters not paying attention will be voting without realizing the true mess this admin has placed the country in.
