Secretary of Education Arne Duncan on Monday will host an Internet discussion aimed at uncovering why young black and Hispanic men are “less successful” in the job market and in school, and what causes encounters between them and law enforcement.

The discussion is part of President Barack Obama’s “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative, which the administration announced in February. That initiative created a task force including Duncan as education secretary, and is meant to develop proposals to “enhance positive outcomes and eliminate or reduce negative ones” for young black and Hispanic men.

Duncan will explore how to improve the graduation rate, and proposes more financial aid, lower college costs, and better guidance when applying to college as possible answers for blacks and Hispanics. He also proposes shorter pathways to a high wage career, and a culturally relevant educational environment as other possible answers for minorities in obtaining higher level college degrees.

As part of Obama's “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative Attorney General Holder has been tasked with reviewing thousands of convictions of blacks males in order for Obama to use his pardoning power "to do some real good and free some people from the cages they’re trapped in."

Imagine if a White President had a "My Brother’s Keeper” initiative aimed at helping non blacks with shorter pathways to high wages, giving culturally relevant degrees instead of earning them and freeing as many convicted whites as possible. Our government is broke and is flaunting racism. Watch for the prison dump of blacks and Hispanics as Obama prepares to leave office.

We've been over this a zillion times. And the grand conclusion as usual will be white racism. Didn't Holder just announce that? Anyway, who gives a flying fuck. Life will go on and certain ethnic/cultural groups will succeed and others won't.

I saw a great clip of Condoleeza Rice speaking about how she couldn't have a hamburger at the local lunch counter when she was a kid. But her parents always told her she could become the President if she wanted. I can remember all of the special, unique snowflakes here that always posted that the "meritocracy was a myth" . Some even had it as their signature.

Arne Duncan is the same jerk who teamed up with Obama to stress that taxpayers have to pay for illegal immigrant kids in public schools.

And that these kids need to provide no age, no address, no proof of citizenship -- nothing.

So it remains the duty of the taxpayer to pay for the education of any kid who can sneak over the border.
