School Stabbing Spree Lasted Five Terrifying Minutes:

The suspect in the Franklin Regional High School stabbing spree used two knives to attack at least 19 students and one security guard for five minutes before he was tackled by an assistant principal, police said.

The 16-year-old sophomore's "kitchen-type" knives were eight to 10 inches long. It was unclear how he got them into the Murrysville, Pa., school building.

The suspect's computer was confiscated, but he did not have a cellphone, said Special Agent in Charge Scott Smith of the FBI’s Pittsburgh office, which was assisting in the investigation.

This is a clear cut example of America's out of control knife culture. Knives are everywhere in America. There are way more knives than people. Americans surely own more knives than any other nation. Children in every American home have access to knives. It's certainly not a mental health issue.

It's time for strict knife control legislation.

Or are you saying that when someone posts something without any context, they are being dishonest?
What do you THINK he is saying dip shit? He is saying that knife control will be just as effective as gun control and just as effective as baseball bat control and just as effective as garrotte control and....do you get it or not?
The criminals will ALWAYS have the guns.

As I said on the board before the great schism....there will ALWAYS be a Johnny that will come in and mass kill. Whether it is a single teen or an Idi Amin or a Hitler....

We need the ability to defend ourselves from threats like this. (And Trayvon Martin, or course.)

You know....a bit off the exact topic, but still very close....

This standoff out in Nevada between the BLM and this rancher Bundy.....this is a prime example of why we need to fight for the Second Amendment.

Those Federal jack booted thugs came to the party armed to the teeth. They had tasers, standard police issue sidearms, and they EVEN HAD A SWAT WAGON. Who knows what an arsenal of automatic weapons they had....

I am sure some of those ranchers had their hunting rifles, too. And I am glad calmer heads ruled, and shots were not fired.

But it is extremely important that the citizens be armed in order to protect themselves against a dictatorial government, as well as common crime on the street.

And the thing I cannot reconcile is that those cops are American citizens too. Do they not care that their rights could be and actually ARE being violated too? Surely they do not believe in what they are doing, but the power of the paycheck overrides their sense of right and wrong.

I think most cops relish the thought of being able to bully and intimidate citizens. If ordered to fire upon citizens, or if fired upon first they will respond with enthusiasm. Hardly a week goes by without a news report of some cop somewhere shooting an innocent person who made the mistake of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Google "Seattle cop shooting old man" to see a Seattle city cop murder in cold blood an old man who was walking down the street. He was carrying a piece of wood and a closed folding knife he intended on using to carve the wood. He had ear buds in and couldn't hear the cop yelling at him to stop. So the cop thought a proper response would be to just shoot him six times.
At first the cops tried to claim the knife was open, but the cops dash mounted video camera clearly showed the knife was folded, and witness reports confirmed this. Then, after the shooting, when other officers responding to the "officer involved shooting" call went out showed up, the cop who murdered the old man said to one of the responding cops, "I think I might have killed him." The other cop said (and this is clearly heard on the audio portion of the recording), "Don't worry, if you didn't, we'll finish the job."
