We all know Grog is a friendly fellow -- a raging homo, of course, but we can overlook Grog's shortcomings.

But we must band together to educate Grog as to "horde" versus "hoard."

Sure, his 13 years of posting drivel here have been a waste, so at least he can learn one thing.

But we must band together to educate Grog as to "horde" versus "hoard."
And here I always thought Grog was well educated..having seen him playing soccer on the front lawn of the library at Columbia.
The other students would ask him to go with them for a beer, but he would always decline saying he had to go study.
I now see that it was just an excuse, and he declined out of fear he may be asked to show a valid student ID.

Good lord. This really must be one of the startling achievements of your life, Forbes. Sad but more funny that you have the need to take a victory lap over me using the wrong spelling.

Well played, Forbes. Well played indeed.

I have to agree....Grog appears gay to me.
I have read many of his posts, and when insulting or putting down other posters, he often uses gay references and slurs to make his eloquent point.

One in particular...recently.....he referred to some hotel in NY City...don't remember the name of it....you guys will remember....
But the point is: How the hell does he know about this hotel? I never heard of it, but he knows it.
Many times such references occur in his posts. How does he know so well these gay things he uses as put-downs?

Other than being gay himself, of course.....

Plus, I don't even think he is 'Merican. I think he is a limey import. Don't even know if he is a citizen....but limey for sure. Otherwise, why the "whilst" usage in his posts?

Undoubtedly has a twisted way of thinking on things....

Jesus, tvd, you shouldn't be smug about your ignorance like the rest of the buffoons here.

The point is that the object of the reference (johnforbes) knew what the Stonewall Inn is, so he could understand the ribbing even if you couldn't.
Everyone (yes, even straight people) with a clue about the history of civil rights in the U.S.knows what the Stonewall Inn represents to gays.
You, being ignorant and proud of it, parade your ignorance of the civil rights movement in America as though you think your ignorance shows that the other guy is the ridiculous one and not you.
And now your ilk are upset about serving gays today just like your counterparts 60 years ago were upset about serving "coloreds" for religious reasons.

If you sorry excuses for human beings want to hide behind "religious freedom" to justify your despicable behavior toward your fellow man, fine, but for God's sake don't pretend your vile behavior is because you believe in Jesus Christ and his teachings.
Jesus would never have sanctioned such a law nor sanctioned such behavior on your parts.
Passing this law only shows those 'Christians' are as ignorant of Jesus as you are of recent American history.

Bump to keep this tribute to me at the top. I mean, if Forbes thought my misuse of spelling was worthy of its own thread, then it must be a rare occurrence indeed, and one of the few times he felt even marginally equipped to get into the ring with me.

As for the gay thing? I'm pretty sure about 99.9% of the gay references I make here are directed at Forbes, who is the only person here or in his real life that doesn't realize he's a whirling, pirouetting maelstrom of effete femininity clad in taffeta and too-snug leggings.

I don't do this to mock or ridicule his simpering displays of his true nature, but rather to help him emerge from his kimono cocoon and accept what everyone else already knows: He is super gay. Forbes is so gay that gay dudes go "Wow. That guy is REALLY gay."

And try again, tvd. Whilst I have over the years talked about Forbes' exploits and arrests at Fire Island numerous times, I'm pretty sure I've never mentioned the Stonewall Inn until the typing of this sentence.
#37441
Never heard of the Stonewall Inn, and proud of it.

Not everybody knows about everything.....ooopppsss....sorry, you do....forgot.

I am sorry if I attributed it to the wrong poster....Grog and Clown run together to me.

Grog....you a limey?

http://www.thestonewallinnnyc.com/Stone ... STORY.html

How horrible. I mean the mental picture of a gay guy throwing a beer bottle...heck, throwing anything....

But don't get me wrong. Some of my best friends are gay....black...gay and black....gay and white.....white with a bit of black and don't forget the ever important presidential black with a bit of white.

Geez.

Truth. I am one of the few who tells the absolute truth on here. So here it is.
I worked for a small company in Charlotte, NC for a short time that was owned by a gay couple.

Those two fags were absolutely the nicest, best, highest quality human beings I have ever known.
But I still joke and say off color things about them....in the order of Family Guy or Chappelle's Show.
And that's a fact...or is it thats...? I get's so confused by those damn ' ' ' s.

Keeping the dream alive bump.

tvd, you SHOULD be proud you didn't know about it even though you're the one that brought it up on this thread.

Ignorance is a badge of honor for conservatives. You people don't like facts and knowledge to muddy your beliefs.

In the real world, most intelligent and even semi-intelligent people base their beliefs on facts and knowledge. One of the many peculiarities (and there are many) of conservative "thought" is that you people turn it on its head and base your facts on your beliefs.

Nothing wrong with that. It provides some of us with endless amusement and entertainment.

Before the Liston fight (with its invisible punch), Cassius Clay met the Beatles.

It was a friendly encounter, mainly for photographers.

After the Beatles left, Clay -- the hero of Civil RIghts -- asked the question so germane to Grog:

"Who were those little faggots?"
#37462
And yet another bump for the delight of Forbes' ongoing self-inflicted agony.

Directly above we see Forbes flitting and flouncing from the perceived safety of his closet, peering out as he ponders his wardrobe for this evening's parade of picayune pettiness wherein he once again unwittingly demonstrates his penchant for gay self-flagellation.

Or, in a huff, and armed with with both of his pink "pistols," will he storm off to the "shooting" range at the Foley Institute for some "legal" and manly feats of masculinity?

Probably only the authorities will know for certain.
#37473
Fun bump!

Calm down, Forbes. You've gotten your pantaloons all twisted up in your thrashing self-loathing.

http://www.logcabin.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Check with them. Maybe they have some therapy suggestions so you can reconcile your angry conservatism with your gay gayness. Perhaps they can help you find a happy medium, and I don't mean one that tells jokes during séances.

Good luck!

Took-nothing-to-get-Forbes-to-pull-his-masturbatory-C&Ping-himself-thing bump.

I'm just trying to help you, Forbes. I can't pull you out of your closet home, I can only coax. Step out into the light. It's a brighter, warmer world out here.

Help me. Help me help you.

And to what is tvd referring? Here's the exchange:
"Grig should move to Rissia"-johnforbes
"johnforbes should move to the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village."-me

That's the exchange, with no direct reference to homosexuality anywhere.
Then, after I enlighten him on this thread four days after the referenced Stonewall Inn post, tvd says he has still "Never heard of the Stonewall Inn, and proud of it." So he didn't look it up after he read it.

And yet somehow, with no knowledge of the Stonewall Inn and in a post where no overt reference is made to homosexuality, tvd claims it is a "gay reference and slur". How is this possible?

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
These clowns don't even know when they are giving themselves away.
#37495
Good question Clown. Here's the answer.

Every time I read one of you guys' posts, and there is some sort of obscure reference (obscure to me anyway), and especially if the post was made in an effort to slam someone, then I assume it some sort of gay reference.

My point is that you guys reference gay stuff so often that is has become expected. And I always wonder..."How do they know all this gay stuff..." And I conclude...they must be gay themselves.
I don't make it a point to be an expert on gaydom. But somehow you guys do....hmmmm....

In this case, and this is true, I never heard of the Stonewall Inn. I told my wife about this thread, and she knew about the Stonewall...because she grew up in Madison County NJ, and she remembers the news stories. I had never heard of it. But in the context of the whole post, and knowing your posting history, I came to the conclusion it was gay related reference, and sure enough, I was right.

I am not going to go back and try to pick out all the examples that mold my opinion of your posts, but when I see a good example in the future, I will certainly point it out. Then maybe you will see how often you do it. And always to insult or slam someone. I thought you Libs were the "tolerant" ones. Fact is, libs are the most INTOLERANT group, when others have a differing opinion.
#37500
So tvd admits he's just another reactionary conservative with opinions about stuff he's ignorant of.
Trust us, we knew that already from all your previous posts, tvd.

And don't bother pointing out gay references I post. I'm perfectly aware of what I post and why I post it. It's all you idiots here who assume I post the way you do; in a fog of blindly following your marching orders from your handlers, be they religious, political, or just other reactionaries like yourselves and you fear not being part of their club.

Even your last post above reveals your cluelessness. Gay references are not made as an insult or slur except by conservatives. Only guys like you consider it to be an insult to be called gay in the first place.
You clowns think that guys like Grog and I are gay because we don't go spastic like you do declaring how straight we are whenever one of you calls us gay. Think what you want. Who cares what you think of us? I certainly don't.

I couldn't care less if someone's gay or not. That's how I'm so aware of gay-related history and culture in the first place. I have known dozens of gays and lesbians in my life just as I've known hundreds of straights in my life. I pay attention to the things a friend or acquaintance considers important. Well, that and I watched the Stonewall-related events reported on the national news broadcasts like every other straight person with any brains in America. You didn't. You were out having loudly-expressed, uninformed opinions about things.

But for the record, gays are generally a whole lot more fun to be around than you angry, judgmental, narrow-minded, sour, humorless, violent, ignorant, and "normal" reactionaries. "U-S-A, U-S-A, U-S-A!" Jesus H. Chrisis, if you only knew how absurd you guys are.
#37520
Let's not let Forbes' pride and joy thread roll down just because he's checked himself into a psychological trauma unit for self-inflicted bulletin board humiliation.

How do we get him out of lurk mode and on the road to recovery? I know!

There not going to be happy when they're car breaks down driving from here to their. That should give him material for three or fore threads.

Clownkicker wrote:Even your last post above reveals your cluelessness. Gay references are not made as an insult or slur except by conservatives. Only guys like you consider it to be an insult to be called gay in the first place.
This is what I find to be an absolutely unbelievable statement from this nut.
How can he POSSIBLY post such spin, when everyone who ever reads any of his crap that he throws out, particularly at Forbes, would read it and consider such crap to be an insult. If it wasn't an insult, why bring it up in the first place?

It is beyond belief, that statement.

Also, in the same post above, he slams me for doing EXACTLY what he does himself regarding drawing conclusions from "an uninformed" position. (I think that was the phrase, cannot look back up on this shit website software platform.) Whether he realizes it or not, he is slamming me for the exact thing he himself is guilty of.

What a tool......

But on a different note....this is getting very, very old. Nothing to see or add here. Time to move on.
#37567
Blimey! It's bloody brilliant to see you out of hospital so soon, Forbes. Although, one must hope that you didn't manoeuvre yourself into an early release without the staff realising the depth of your anguish over the failure of the Obamacare programme to cover the expenses of your gender reassignment needs.

Cheerio for now! I'm off to the pub for a pint or two.
#37575
Dear John, as it were and all that; You may analyse my jottings however you desire and labour under whichever misapprehensions you wish.

Your tears, whether originating from joy or sadness, will not dissolve my can-do determination to assist you in overcoming your current spate of largely self-determined suffering.

Goodbye, cruel cybernetics.

Sensitive soul that I am, I am beginning to wonder if Grog likes me.

My weeping is out of control.

Not since the Johnstown Flood has there been this much water.

I'm leaving the Internet forever.

Good lord. Forbes' trauma has reduced him to walking around in public literally mumbling the same thing to himself over and over.

Perhaps one or more chaps from the conservative cadre will start some kind of charitable fund so that he might be able to get the help he so desperately needs. I've heard Americans, especially conservative Americans are a generous lot. Now is the time to bloody well prove it.

^See? It's not his fault. It's the fault of uncaring conservatism that allows Forbes to continue talking to and with himself as if he's having a real conversation.

What will it take to get conservatives to give a little to save one of their own instead of trying to take it all for themselves?
