Their major and their city counsel members revamped the police department several years, reducing the number of officers, punishing those officers who offended any citizens put in place far left liberals as leaders within the police department and telling to leave minorities alone, let them be or we will terminate you. Now you have a police force that flees dangerous thugs rather than rushing to them. Citizens are on their own.

This happens nightly in Oakland where entire city blocks are taken over by thugs and police are not allowed to enter, if the do they will be attacked and force to flee since they aren't allowed to fight back. Two police officers were put into intensive care last week after a crowd surrounded their car, broke the windows out of it and pulled them out. Their pleas for backup went ignored by the shift leader, "she didn't want to create a riot". When asked why the Officer didn't just drive through the crowd or use his gun, the officer replied "I would be put in prison"

As sad as it is, I do get some degree of satisfaction watching liberals cities get what they voted for. I do feel sorry for the police in those cities, they've been neutered while criminals have been empowered. Let the thugs have those cities, soon the city will collapse with more takers than givers.

Keep the criminals contained in Oakland and away from San Francisco or the Berkeley Hills.
Why have the Police driving into bad areas. Have them patrol the good areas to keep the bad people away.
