A 7-year-old girl at Thomas Claggett Elementary School in District Heights, Md., was beaten unconscious by at least four classmates Tuesday morning.

It happened during recess in the school’s gymnasium.

The little girl’s parents say their daughter was taken by ambulance to Children's Hospital in D.C. She was diagnosed with a mild concussion.Her mother, Phersephone Holland, says she can't believe it happened at school.

"That's my baby. I bring her to school and that's the least thing I expect is a phone call informing me that my daughter is unconscious,” she says.

Holland says she is wondering where all the teachers were during the attack. So is the victim's father, Rodney Smyers. He says this isn't the first time his daughter has been bullied and hit at school.

"One incident, she came home, she had a split in her lip," he says. "It's an ongoing problem,” he adds.Smyers and Holland are concerned about what not only seems to be a lack of supervision, but the fact that school officials haven't disciplined the boys involved or informed other parents of what happened.

Holland said that had this been a black girl beat down by 4 white boys the school would have reacted and those involved would have been punished in some manner, instead the school has no comment.

How any "parent" who supposedly loves their child could send them to a public school full of animals is beyond me.

The next time you're talking to a government school fanatic... explain to them that you have just accepted a voucher or tax credit from the government to reimburse yourself for private school tuition and homeschooling and tutoring expenses on their dime.

And then watch their head explode.

Imagine the out cry had it been 4 white boys beating a 7 year old black girl unconsciousness at a public school! Heads would have rolled by now and Jesse Jackson would leading protest in the parking lot and Obama would be saying that could have been my daughter, this racism has to stop. Our society is on a steep decline and it's all starting in our public schools.
