Yep, and the Federal investigation will soon be called off. Christie's aide just released documentation showing that the Obama Administration not only approved of spending the 25 million dollars on ads, but Obama was in some of the ads.

This morning Holder was asked if he still thought the use of the aid money to make the ads was a Federal crime after is pointed out Obama himself was involved, Holder said he had no comment other than how aid money is used is complicated matter and if the ads actually helped the community get back on their feet, it's probably not an issue. A far cry from his initial observation that the money should not have been used for ads, of course that was before he learned Obama was involved in it.

Sorry, justupid. I'll wait for real news of what is actually going on. As is usual you may have some of the simpler factoids correct, but there is always a dishonest twist with additional "facts" when it comes from you.

Speaking of twits, Bilbo certain qualifies.

DoJ is still looking into the IRS scandal and appointing a pal of Obama's to pursue it, but any hint of scandal with Christie, a Repub, is examined instantly.

Typical hypocrisy.

Bilbo, you're the one that started this thread with less facts than are available now, so why didn't you wait?

Gee, All I find so far is that the controversy has nothing to do with having the ads thus Obama approval is irrelevant.

The controversy is about choosing a more expensive contract with Christie in the ads vs a less expensive with Christie not in the ads. A reasonable reason for an inquiry considering the ads were effectively campaign ads at the time they were run.

Obama in the Ads? I have found nothing. Could have been, but what's the point anyway. Was Obama running for election in NJ at the time of the Ads?

Oh, and the usual morons make their usual moronic attacks.

Why didn't I wait? Why should I have waited? Unlike your distortions and lies, I made no distortions, lies, or assumptions, let alone false assumptions. I came to no conclusions, unlike your constant stream of dishonest conclusions. I very simply indicated that there was a story to be investigated.

First of all, Christie is a commie thug that's been getting away with this shit for years, second Obama is right in there with him. If you haven't seen the Christie, Obama ads in the Sandy recovery, you're living in the dark ages. Both of them are lying asses.

This whole thing is a really screwed up situation for the GOP in general and Fox News in particular because the GOP base despises Christie, and all of Fox's programming is geared to keep the base terrified and angry and thus motivated to vote and form illegally tax-exempt PACs.

But at the same time, the GOP base and Fox detest Democrats and the liberal media, so the base and Fox don't want to be seen as doing anything to support or even agree with non-conservatives.

Once again, Tea Partiers find themselves in a lose-lose situation.

On a positive note, Bilbo ordered and used "Chris Christie's Guide to Tight Abs."

Bilbo has performed the workout diligently for a year now, and his abs are washboarded to the precise extent as Christie's.

Haven't been following Christy much.
Question, other than "Bridgegate"
Why does it seem Christy seem to be both hated by the left and right? If he took the tea party stand of the far right wouldn't N.J. be under the same gridlock black **** our present Congress seems to be under, and the benefits of that is? As a republican governor trying to accomplish an agenda in a left leaning state what are his options, play hard ass and cause gridlock, or compromise and move forward. What's best for the citizens of N.J., I mean that's who he is working for.
Why is "compromise" such a dirty word nowdays?

Just because Holder decided not to investigate the illegal use of aid money for the Christie/Obama ads doesn't mean the State shouldn't continue their investigation.

We all remember this ad, being played, over and over, now we find out aid money was spent on it, shame, shame.

Christie was their best hope to become president.

Of course, that's simply unknown.

Nobody thought Barry Obama -- a half-minority leftist with a resume light on everything but arrogance, with a racist minister, with secret SAT and LSAT scores, with the lot near his house bought from Rezco -- had the slightest chance to even be nominated a few years before he was.

A possible successor to Obama may be potentially linked to a major corruption scandal.

And somehow you're still obsessed about Obama's test scores.

Hardly.

I looked at Bush Jr's SAT and it was about as expected.

But the point is that nobody -- nobody -- knows Obama's test scores.

They are secret, and politicians only keep things secret which will hurt them.

No, Elk, Christie was not the Tea Partiers best hope. They hate him for many reasons, the least of which might be his chumming around with Obama after Sandy.

They hate him because in their esteemed opinion, he's a RINO (http://www.google.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).

They may hate him, but in a general election, who are they going to vote for? RINO or liberal?

The teabaggers flamed out the last time they were under the microscope....

If it were between Christie and a liberal, a lot of Tea Partiers would stay at home on election day. They despise Christie almost as much as they despise Obama, maybe even more on some levels because they perceive him to be a traitor to their patriotic and Christian cause.

Christie was never any hope for extremist conservatives. Their only hope regarding him was that something bad would happen and knock him out of contention so they could elect a a champion like Cruz or Paul or Rubio or Palin. It looks like God might have answered their prayers.

I for one don't hate Christie, I just feel our Country deserves better. If it came down to him or another liberal...well if the other liberal was more liberal than Christie, Christie would get my vote.

Maybe we should take a Republican cue and figure out how to write new laws that wou8ld make it difficulty for teagaggers to vote. Probably the old education requirements would do it.
