Political discussions about everything

Less than two weeks after his anti-gay remarks prompted an "indefinite hiatus" for the reality patriarch, and a strong fan backlash, the network says he will remain on the series.

As a global media content company, A+E Networks' core values are centered around creativity, inclusion and mutual respect. Duck Dynasty is not a show about one man's views. It resonates with a large audience because it is a show about family… a family that America has come to love. As you might have seen in many episodes, they come together to reflect and pray for unity, tolerance and forgiveness. These are three values that we at A+E Networks also feel strongly about.

So after discussions with the Robertson family, as well as consulting with numerous advocacy groups, A&E has decided to resume filming Duck Dynasty later this spring with the entire Robertson family.

We will also use this moment to launch a national public service campaign (PSA) promoting unity, tolerance and acceptance among all people, not only one sided views held by some groups who have no tolerance for views other than their own. Everyone has a right to their own opinions and in the future we will respect that right. We will send a message that supports our core values as a company, and the values found in Duck Dynasty. These PSAs will air across our entire portfolio.

Translation:

The liberals at A&E got caught in their hypocrisy.
They know dick but they don't know duck. Like most liberals they're tolerant of everyone's views as long as they share those views, when the views are different they demand silence. The Robertson's five attorneys were all over A&E, you can also bet the Robertson's wallets are a little fatter as part of the deal.

Just heard on CCN that the Robertsons' had their attorneys draft up a breach of contract and defamation suit and told the liberals running A&E in New York, "We're filing this suit in Louisiana where we signed the contract and the series are filmed; we'll see what a jury made up of Louisianans feel you New Yorkers owe us." The next day A&E reached a resolution with the Robertson family. :D

That's quite an amusing anecdote, if true. I got a chuckle out of it.

But, personally, I would rather win a lawsuit because my cause was just and right, not because I could intimidate with the biggest Louisiana lawsuit stick.

It's way past time to start fighting fire with fire. Special interest groups around the Country are asking "What the hell just happened?" :D

If they didn't know before, they know now that money talks. This all seems more like a victory for greed and capitalism than it does some vindication for Christian values or free speech. The lawyers and the lawsuits and the loss of a 400 million dollar empire were the real issues here.

I want to see a "reality" show based around a strict Muslim family and see what happens when they decide on a marriage or condemn homosexuals etc. on national television.

The homos have just learned that no matter what Obama says, the rest of America knows they're nothing more than a bunch of sick fucks.
Agree, any guy who's turned on by another man's anus is sick. It's not logical, my man. It's just not logical.

Do you believe everything on the internet?

Breach of contract; Not, because they have a morals clause.
Defamation; I find it ironic that a bigot would sue for defamation.

I rise to defend the Dear Leader against JJF's scurrilous attacks. The Dear Leader is not, in fact "half black" as has been alleged by his hooligan detractors, He is half white, through his white trash, slut mother who had a thing for putting out for the brothers, one sixth African black and one third Muslim Arab (trust me simple minded libs, the math works out) through His drunken, whore hopping, irresponsible father. Ethnically, The Anointed One is more closely related to the slave traders who sold African blacks into slavery than He is to those slaves. This is why He must constantly try to burnish His black street cred by attempting to associate Himself with black cultural icons and distance Himself from His white half by insulting His grandmother's memory by calling her a, "Typical white woman." True half black Americans are deeply insulted by this allegation and association.
The socialist part is quite true.
