Gore admitted it will be a large house but that everything in it will be energy efficient he also pointed out that it will help him reduce his required travel by allowing him to hold conference meetings at his second home in France. He also pointed out hydro power will be used for most of his energy needs for the home that has 12 bathrooms and a staff of 16 including two master chefs. I'm sure Gore has them walk to work to reduce his carbon foot print.

If you're expecting any of the leftists here to hold him in contempt for this you'll be out of luck. All of a sudden they will be unable to see the hypocrisy. Then they will attack you.

It's not about the environment for them, they have a different agenda.

Lord, I don't even know why anybody would want that.

I used to have some lingering respect for Gore because he never used to own even one share of stock back when he was in the Congress.

But, after losing the presidential campaign, he simply became a pig at the trough with all the carbon credit nonsense.

Lord, I don't even know why anybody would want that.

But he may require his household staff to walk to work rather than driving to reduce his carbon foot print, so it's all good.

The blatant hypocrisy of the left should surprise no one. Also, one should never expect consistency from anyone who panders so obviously to voters or whatever the cause celeb happens to be today. After all, Gore at one time was stridently pro life until it became obvious he needed to pander to his far left base to continue to be elected. Then he became an equally strident advocate of killing the unborn.
One should also remember that the Gore family fortune was created by his father with investments in Occidental Petroleum, a leader in oil exploration, drilling and extraction. So, as he lectures us on the evils of "Big Oil" and the danger burning fossil fuels does to the ozone layer, his hands are dripping with crude oil.
