Dems realize that many vulnerable Senate seats (WV, AK, etc) will go Repub if millions more lose their employer-provided health plans next year, as will occur without big changes.

Also, Obama HAD already said that corrections need to be made to make sure those who can not get better plans get to keep their old plans. Also, in the real news is the simple fact that thousands of people wee kicked off their old plans illegally and many of the insurers are being sued.

So, the situation is no where near anything like the radial reactionary extremist moron noise machine is spewing. It never is.

The real, real news is that the insurance companies aren't willing to re-instate the old policies. They say it will be impossilbe and cost them a lot of money, since it took them so long to get all their programs set up to cancel the polices and send out the letters. They have already figured the new premiums. Now to cancel them and re-calculate them using the old policies.....they are not willing to do it.

But somehow I felt the increase was eventually for my benefit, IE. better hospitals, doctors, R&D. This time the increase is not for my benefit....it will go to pay for the policies others can't afford and don't want.
