Richard Onizuka, ACA rollout CEO for Washington State, salary increased from $157,000 per year to just over $177,400, Oregon's rollout ACA CEO pay was raised from 175K to 188K despite Oregon failing to enroll a single person. The average health exchange worker is receiving a 13 percent raise across the Nation, according to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius the raises were well earned and the American public doesn't fully appreciate how hard they've worked to bring health care to everyone.
All I can say it "fuck"

Only the government would reward those doing a basic job they were hired to do with huge raises.

You would NEVER see that type of thing in a private company and for good reason, they did the job they were HIRED to do.
Now, if some employees did an outstanding job, the average raise would be 2.5%, NOT 13% which is absurd, but then that is why government is broke and constantly figuring out ways to increase taxes and fees to cover their misspending of OUR money.

Do away with income taxes, bring back the wealth tax and let government charge fees to those who use each and every one of their services. The more services you use, the more you pay vs the less services you use, the less you pay.

Let's see if congress can figure out what it's really like to run on a budget, be fiscally responsible and pay workers accordingly.

Who knows, maybe McDonalds would become a high paying job compared to a government job.

One has to wonder................ ;)

No, you wouldn't......
That would NEVER happen.
In private companies they pay people huge bonuses before they do anything at all.

Forget about the ones who lose millions of dollars for the company and get huge bonuses anyway.

You don't want the federal govt imposing compensation limits.

But I've always argued that exec compensation packages should receive prior shareholder approval.

You want execs to be very highly motivated to perform -- unlike the sort of slugs who rolled out Obamamess.
