In an interview with the BBC about her film The Butler, Oprah Winfrey explained that the only way for racism to disappear would be for racists to all die. After explaining to the British outlet that President Obama faced disrespect due to his race – “There’s a level of disrespect for the office that occurs…in some cases and maybe even may cases because he’s African American,” she said – she continued by explaining that generations of Americans had “marinated” in racism.

She stated, “There are still generations of people, older white people, who were born and bred and marinated in it, in that prejudice and racism, and they just have to die.”

Oprah is one racist bitch. She talked of how hard it was for her as a black women to get fair treatment, this from the richest woman in America. She also talked of how hard it's been on Obama because he's black, considering Obama is the President of the United States with no qualifications to even be in that position, Oprah needs to play the blacks' 'knockout game'

This has always been the case with Oprah.

How she got rich just talking, with all her various and dubious claims of victimhood, is one of the wonders of the age.

Oprah said Obama was The One totally on the basis of race. Had Obama been all white instead of half, Oprah would have had zero interest in him as a politician.

Oprah Winfrey is a media creation. Personally she is a racist and political extremist.

It seems to me that the real racism she preaches about originates with the victimization trip. Until they stop separating themselves and reconsider their view that the entire world is racist and they will never excel because of it, then they will remain in Boo Boo land and whatever socioeconomic racist trap they are in.

I could/ would be more proud of a strong black leader who advances the idea that they can achieve on their own regardless of real or perceived racism by pointing to the black middle class.

That really is the point.

Black kids can help themselves just as poor white kids can.

I grew up doing the sort of agrarian manual labor most black kids today never come close to.

Kids today, even in the ghetto, grow up in air-conditioned apartments watching TV and playing on computers and cell phones.

They have no military obligation and they can get by never working on food stamps and welfare.

But, if they want to help themselves, there is an ocean of opportunity with scholarships and with institutions bending over backward with affirmative action.
