Tina Turner gives up her US citizenship to become a Swedish citizen.

I guess she didn't want Obamacare either.

Ah, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing!

Tina Turner has 6 houses and has lived for over 10 years in Zurick, Switzerland to avoid paying US taxes. BTW. Sweden has a single payer medical system (Socialized Medicine.) I'm not too sure that she will give up her US passport as she will then be subject to Sweden's taxes; among the highest in the world.

My mistake...it is Switzerland and not Sweden....but the fact is she has reliquished her US citizenship as opposed to renouncing her US citizenship.....it's a tax thing.
