There is a very simple solution to the debt ceiling extortion by the cabal of extremist teabaggers holding the Speaker of the House and the country at risk.

1) Ignore the debt ceiling and adhere to the fiscal responsibility the President has as the chief administrator of the U.S. government. Congress has already authorized the spending and the debt ceiling is NOT a Constitutional construct. It IS the responsibility of the President to NOT let the United States act in abrogation of fiscal responsibility.

2) Let the House impeach the President and the Senate hold a trial.

3) Continue to tell the citizens of the United States that the Speaker of the House can call for a simple democratic vote to restore fiscal responsibility any time he decides to do so.
