A man reportedly set himself on fire on the National Mall this afternoon and was airlifted to a hospital.
The man's exact motivations have not been reported but the chosen location hints that it was a demonstration against the Republican driven shut down of Government that is adversely effecting millions of Americans.

The Republicans hate of Obama is resulting in real deaths and suffering. It's time for them to sign the Bill already passed by the Senate so we can move forward.

It would be more accurate to say "It's time for democrats to stop forcing shit on Americans when the Majority don't want it. It's time for Demcorats to stop passing laws by saying "you have to pass it to read it". It's time for Demcorats to think about America first, instead of their own power and reelection campaigns. It's time for Democrats to tell Obama that he should not be playing games that only harm the working people while doing what he denies them. It's time that the democrats reduce the size of government. It's time that Democrats reduce ObamaCare to the 4 pages of law that would cover everything that was needed in Health-Care-Reform, instead of the massive power grab and money laundering it currently is."
