Political discussions about everything

Very eye-opening. That "Chargemaster" pricing system is also one cause. Charemaster explains why a small box of Kleenex costs $58 in a hospital.
Someone needs to pick up the bill for illegals' medical treatment, hospitals just pass it on to those who do pay. Cars would be more expensive if certain people could walk in, pick a car and drive away without paying, the costs would be passed on to those who do pay for the cars. Businesses aren't the Government, they either make money or shut down, there is not such thing as ignoring their costs are more than they bring in.

More delusions from the usual empty headed delusionals.

"Tort Reform" a term used to describe laws that give legal immunity from misconduct and from liability for faulty products and services that cause damage. One aspect of corporatism (AKA Fascism).

All tort reform is if someone sues you, and force you to hire attorneys and they lose their lawsuit, they have to pay your attorney fees. Why would anyone but a liberal have anything against that?

As it is know, attorneys file numerous lawsuits at once with no real basis knowing that the company or hospital would rather just give them money then hire attorneys and spend tons of time and money just to defend themselves. Frivolous lawsuits would stop with tort reform and only lawsuits with merit would be brought forward.

Do you know you can pay $50.00 and sue anyone for anything and they have to hire an attorney and go to court and defend themselves. Tort reform would make the person who sued you pay your cost if it's determine to be frivolous.

Is that the drivel that they feed you over at Faux news?

Blame the lawyers for the high costs of healthcare.............

You need a balance on this.

If some doctor saws off the wrong leg, obviously you need to be able to sue.

On the other hand, some of us vividly recall when lawyers were seeking the opportunity decades ago to advertise. They pledged never would they do any ads which were crass or unprofessional. Yet look today at all the billboards and lowbrow ads on TV for ambulance chasers.

What is needed is tort reform which recognizes that trial lawyers do have a place in society, but not to the extent that only the brave and the lucky can practice surgery.

More faux meaningless drivel. Yes, obviously. Still, we need to not prevent people from suing people who do damage.

"Tort Reform" in these last few decades has been as I have said. Simply not real tort reform, but corporatism run rampant.

It's time the faux addressed real issues with real pragmatic responses and not the empty meaningless drivel that he always spouts in defense of radical reactionary corporatism.

Legal suits are NOT the cause of high costs in healthcare. This has been studies to death. Your fantasy really has nothing to do with the high cost of healthcare. Your solution therefore is no solution at all. Just simple corporatism.

The usual corporatist response, a reasonable sounding lie.

Yes, we need real "Tort Reform"

We need to eliminate suits by those with money designed to force smaller businesses to stop competing. Executives need to go to jail for this behavior and corporations need to pay big bucks to their victims. This kind of restriction on competition hurts us all with shoddy goods and high prices. This suppresses growth in the real economy. We need the legal system to investigate this behavior, not bury it out of sight as is currently done.

We need to remove all the corporatist "Tort Reform" designed to make sure big corporations always get paid and so the small guy who has really gone bankrupt can really restructure. Not the upside down way big corporations have structured "tort reform".

We need to eliminate strategic bankruptcy, such a mr trump has frequently done, for the purpose of maximizing profits, minimizing his expenses, at the expense of his suppliers.

We need to stop big corporations from writing laws.

We need the law to support real free market capitalism, not managed market corporatism.

We need economic efficiency, information, choice, and commodity prices, not guaranteed high margins for big corporations.

Bilbo, you aren't very bright or you'd be able to read and understand this.

If you had either a PhD or MBA, you'd be able to.

Stop posting dumb remarks for a second and read this:

You need a balance re tort reform.

If some doctor saws off the wrong leg, obviously you need to be able to sue.

So faux, do you have anything real, without false assumptions and assertions, substantive, pragmatic, or anything else that might be useful or relevant? No, just simply meaningless word salad laced with obvious trivialities and misdirections.

Bilbo, if your PhD was not fake, you'd be able to read and understand this.

If you think this is "word salad," then you have dyslexia.

What might be throwing you off is that you are so obsessed by partisanship and hatred that you think all others are as well. You are wrong.

What I've posted looks beyond partisanship to reality.
