Political discussions about everything

Since day one Obama has went out of his way to offend the Brits while bowing down to and sucking up to other world leaders; especially Muslim leaders. The Brits have stood next to the United States in every Middle East conflict...until now, Obama's arrogance and taking the Brits for granted has come back to bite him. What goes around comes around, would have loved to seen Obama's face when he was told the Brit's have no interest in backing up Obama's red line promise.

Senator Obama, like Senator Biden, strongly opposed Bush going into Iraq.

Bush Jr assembled a coalition, and not a small one.

Obama is alone, except for Pelosi who wants to invade Syria to gain access to their superb camel plastic surgeons.

Viet vets are understandably reluctant to see the US attack a country with:

1) No plan for victory, or even a definition thereof: 2) No intent to achieve total victory; 3) No plan to leave rapidly without some endless, painful, costly occupation; 4) etc.

Obama has just found another way to weaken this country. Can you hear it? That's the rest of the world laughing at us. It will be a long time before anyone takes us seriously again....Your mission is almost accomplished Barack.

The Brits made the right choice. Had Obama read the Art of War he would know there are three winning principals of warfare and if you won't have all three you should not undertake military action.

1. The first winning principals of warfare is that you must have the people behind you.

2. Another principal is how are you going to pay for it?

3. You must have a clear winning plan?

The vast majority of Americans are against taking action in Syria, we don't have the money and there is no plan.

If Congress votes to support Obama everyone knows that when the war goes South (and it will very rapidly) Obama will point at Congress and say...hey I just followed Congress' resolution, what was I suppose to do, ignore it? Plus it was the Generals call to send all those bombs in that killed those civilians, Obama will declare "I will investigate and hold those military members responsible who did it". Kerry will remind everyone that he has testified before Congress on how savage some of our military members are and why war is never the right choice...but Congress told them to do it.

You're being foolish. Obama has made it clear he wants the attack on Syria, to say he will later try and blame Congress for the attack is nonsense.

REALLY?

Just today in Sweden:
“I didn’t set a red line, the world set a red line,” Obama said. “My credibility is not on the line. The international community’s credibility is on the line. And America and Congress’ credibility is on the line, not mine, they set the red line, not me."
