Dozens of churches were attacked and burned by Morsi supporters who took to the streets of Cairo and other Egyptian cities to demand the end of what they call military rule, following the removal of Morsi on July 3. Many of Morsi's supporters and the Muslim Brotherhood have voiced that Egypt's Christian minority should be exterminated, thousands have been forced out of their homes since Morsi came to power and now unknown numbers have been slaughtered during the protests.

"The Egyptian defense minister ordered the engineering department of the armed forces to swiftly repair all the affected churches, in recognition of the historical and national role played by our Coptic brothers,” read a statement that aired on Egyptian television

CAIRO (AP) - Egyptian Military authorities are considering disbanding the Muslim Brotherhood group, a government spokesman said Saturday, once again outlawing a group that held the pinnacle of government power just more than a month earlier. Also Saturday, military authorities arrested the brother of al-Qaida chief Ayman al-Zawahri, a security official said Saturday. Mohammed al-Zawahri, leader of the ultraconservative Jihadi Salafist group, was detained at a checkpoint in Giza along with several Muslim Brotherhood members he was traveling with.

I agree with that, the US should not be sending tax dollars to foreign nations. Other than the Navy making ports of call overseas, all US military bases that are overseas should be shut down and bring the troopers back home...

Elk, we finally agree on something, I need a drink.

Our military is advance enough now days that we can deploy anywhere in the world within days with more force than could be imagined even 20 years ago, we don't need to have our assets already in place like the old days. Most of our overseas bases are nothing but a form of welfare to the Countries we have them in, plus it allows them to spend less on their own defense while we pick up that obligation. Bring our troops home, put them on our borders, set up missile defense and only become involved in conflicts which are a direct threat to the United States.

Yesterday a mob of Morsi supporters marched battered nuns through the torn streets of Cairo ‘like prisoners of war’ in the latest outrage against Egypt’s Christian minority. Sister Manal, principal of a Franciscan school in suburban Cairo, watched for six hours as a mob looted the building, knocked the cross off the gate and replaced it with a black banner resembling the flag of Al Qaeda. The classrooms were then burned to the ground and the nuns taken away, beaten and abused by the cheering mob.

Obama, and the EU dictators have stood silently by whilst persecution of Christians by the fanatic Muslims they supported continued, and a lot of the bloodshed happening now can firmly be placed at their door for encouraging them to rise up. These murderous thugs hate us just as much as they hate anyone who wont go along with their fanatic interpretation of Islam, and we should be supporting those who oppose them.
