Unfortunately, what it shows is the dearth of imagination and wit in the Republican Party.
Trouble is, all the good comedic writers are Democrats.
Imagine how dull and mindless the next election is going to be if this is Republicans' idea of an "awesome" joke.
If they were actually going to run against Biden they'd be in good shape, but even the Democrats aren't stupid enough to nominate him.
