Crime Lab Analyst Anthony Gorgone state under testimony on Wednesday that there were no DNA samples that matched Zimmerman's DNA profile found underneath the fingernails of Martin. The revelation plays against the defense, who has maintained through out the trial that Zimmerman fired his weapon while being attacked.
Gorgone also testified that two different DNA profiles were found on the pistol grip, one being Zimmerman's but the other being unidentifiable but that he was able to determine that it did not match Martin's DNA sequence and that the defendants DNA was found on Martin's hoodie.
