Then why in the hell has he been secretly monitoring the bank accounts, webpages pages, emails and phone calls of several million Americans? They've been monitoring over 25% of Verizon phones alone.

An editorial published late Thursday said the administration was using the "same platitude" it uses in every case of overreach -- that "terrorists are a real menace and you should just trust us."

As we know it now, at least 170 million Americans emails,facebooks, youtubes sites and phones have been tracked by the Obama Administration (that's only the number that's been exposed as being tracked).

One might wonder how in the hell with all that tracking the Obama administration missed the Boston terrorists who we now know were calling known Al-Qaeda numbers, made jihad posts of their facebook pages, were twice identified by Russia as terrorist and planned the attacks right in front of our faces. If this massive tracking system couldn't identify them as potential threats then why is worth 170 millions giving up their privacy? Even a first year private investigator working alone and without the 2 billion dollar tracking system would have done a better job of preventing the Boston bombings.

A NSA source may have provided the answer yesterday when he (she) leaked that the Obama Administration was using the system to track and link associations of certain conservative groups to businesses, members and donors to identify who Obama felt were a threat to his agenda to transform the United States. In other words the Boston terrorists operating in the open were missed due to misuse of the system to target Obama's foes.

The two Boston terrorists were already in FBI/CIA computers, but still the general public identified them.

Perhaps the NSA wants to track all Americans in order to avoid profiling by looking at the most likely threats (those who recently went to places such as the one Boston terrorist did)?

Obama had the Federal government targeting his enemies, not the United States' enemies. If it hadn't been for the Boston police and the general public Obama Administration would have the Feds still targeting skin heads as the suspects.
