Jose Antonio Ramirez-Velazquez, a citizen of Mexico, has been charged for registering to vote and voting while living in Roseville, Michigan.

Remirez-Velazquez, 47, has been charged with one count of Making a Material False Statement When Registering to Vote, a 90-day misdemeanor.

The charge alleges Ramirez-Velázquez's illegal voter registration allowed him to vote in elections held in November 2004, November 2006 and November 2008.

The U.S. Border Patrol and the Roseville Police Department headed the investigation. The fraud came to attention in December 2012, when Ramirez-Velazquez allegedly told police and U.S. Border Patrol agents he voted in federal elections.

Meanwhile, the May 7 election will be the first election to use new language on the ballot. Secretary of State Ruth Johnson successfully pushed to add specific wording to the ballot application to make it clear that only U.S. citizens may cast ballots. Johnson also has sought assistance from the federal government with identifying non-citizen voters, but her requests so far have not been granted.

What a liar.
No lib has ever claimed that election fraud doesn't take place.
You're a liar, it happens from liberals all the time on this board, has for years.

Requiring new voter i.d. laws will only hamper and infringe on legal voters. Illegal voters won't follow the laws anyway. If the government would only just enforce existing voter laws and requirements there would be no need for new ones.

Weird. That sounds vaguely familiar.

If the government would allow the states to implement POSITIVE ID as it has for banking, government assistance programs, Taxes, etc... since voting is far more important than those things, there would be a far more accurate representation of the Majority instead of the cheating minority.

It's pretty amazing to have Leroy advocating for what amounts to universal background checks, registration, and positive ID for people wishing to exercise their civil right to vote protected by the 15th Amendment.

But since he's a hypocrite, Leroy will insist that this same degree of government scrutiny and record keeping for exercising rights protected by the 2nd Amendment would be unacceptable.

What a tool.

Since we've seen that the Democrat machine is rife with voter fraud, vote count fraud, voter intimidation, suppressing the Military Vote, and that the Democrat machine does all they can to keep integrity out of the voting system, yes, I completely support POSITIVE ID as our people/government do in so many other things that are far less important.

If we require POSITIVE ID to buy guns at a store, which is not listed as a requirement in the 2nd Amendment, we can certainly require POSITIVE ID to vote, which is also not a requirement, but has even more reaching impact.

So it appears you support registration, background checks, and positive ID to own a gun just like what you want for voting.
Have you called your Senator and Representative to tell them to vote for this?
Have you told your NRA friends you support this?

It's good to see you openly show how dishonest you are, how much misdirection you need in order to keep from admitting that you're on the wrong side, that your liberals/democrats/progressives have been getting found guilty of election fraud, and that Obama was even invalidated in the 2008 election, because of election fraud.

As in Leroy's OP, he once again only copies and pastes someone else's words without any commentary on the article.

Just another copyright violation by Leroy while he demonstrates he has no intention of discussing the topic or else he would have started the discussion when he started the thread.

What a clown.

And you are constantly lying - My comment was the first thing people read "More election fraud that libs claim doesn't happen" followed by the article that shows it does happen. You even replied to MY COMMENTS on the article.

Why should there be any photo ID requirements for elections? It will not stop election fraud....
That's the point - since Votes are not tied to an ID, once cast, they can't be invalidated if it's found that they were fraudulently cast. The voting must be stopped BEFORE they are cast or they are counted - that's where POSITIVE ID comes into play, it works, very well, to prevent multiple/fraudulent voting.
