A few of the families who have enjoyed their 15 minutes of fame traveling around the United States and being treated as VIPs are outraged that the media has abandoned them and no longer covering each of their events as a result of the Boston bombings. Also there are those who are claiming the "compensation" they're receiving isn't as much as 9/11survivors who got multi-millions and vow to keep up their messages until they're heard.
In the mean time the vast majority of the families have buried their loved ones and avoid the temptation to become VIPS or the need to fly around with the President, they've returned to their jobs and are trying to get the lives back on track. Their losses aren't something they feel they must profit from or are owed anything.
