Yes, the NRA has successfully supported terrorists, mass murderers, and other criminals and foiled efforts to investigate and find cells and cabals of terrorists and criminals.

By blocking the additional of "tagants" to explosives and black powder in the United States.
Tagants are microscopic markers that can be added to materials that provide an ability to identify the source, manufacturer, distributor, of these materials. It is equivalent to a serial number for these materials. Yes, the NRA does not want these materials to be identifiable. The only people this supports are criminals and terrorists, but it does support the ability to sell untraceable materials to everyone and the ONLY people who would want untraceable materials are criminals, terrorists, and revolutio9naries.
