The difference is there is no way to control knifes since they're essential in every home but we can control hand guns which are far more dangerous and serve no purpose other than to harm other people. I would like to see them all rounded up and eventually the police wouldn't even need them, they could use tazers if someone comes at them with a knife.

Why is there no way to control Knives? There are also guns in many homes, far more than can actually be controlled by some asinine law that is only designed to protect the government.

If you can write laws to ban guns you can also write laws to control knife use, ownership, length, etc... All that it takes is someone that is afraid of knives as much as politicians are of guns being used to return the government to the people.
